Call for Abstracts

Home / PROGRAM / Call for Abstracts

Selected abstracts should present new scientific research, innovative and smart solutions (policy, institution, technology and financing) that work in or can be adapted to atmospheric environment context, particularly those that:

  • Extend our scientific understandings in urban, regional, and global air quality issues.
  • Significantly reduce air pollution and greenhouse gases from energy, industry, transport, and area sources.
  • Improve the management of air quality and greenhouse gases.
  • Ensure a safe, equitable, environment and people-friendly transport system by accelerating the shift towards more environmentally sustainable transport.

Abstracts that tackle emerging topics and issues such as air quality, hazardous air pollutants, long-range transport of air pollutants, air pollution remote sensing, air quality modeling, emission inventories, air pollution reduction technology, reduction of short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs), low cost air quality monitoring, use of information technology in enforcement, citizen participation are particularly welcome.

We encourage you to submit abstracts on:

  • CITIES AND MEGACITIES
  • AIR POLLUTION AND HEALTH
  • LINKING AIR POLLUTION AND CLIMATE
  • AIR POLLUTION MANAGEMENT
  • INTERNATIONAL ACTION ON AIR POLLUTION
  • CO-BENEFITS FROM CLIMATE AND AIR POLLUTION MANAGEMENT
  • SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT SOLUTIONS FOR CITIES

Special Issues in SCOPUS Journal will be available

We don’t require a full manuscript submission for WCAC/BAQ 2016.  However, for those who are ready and willing to submit a full paper version of their presentation within 3 months after the conference, WCAC/BAQ Special Issues in the Asian Journal of Atmospheric Environment (AJAE) will be available. This journal is a tri-monthly international journal indexed by SCOPUS and is a core forum for original research relevant to air quality, pollution control technology, ecological and health effects and other topics related to air pollution, climate change and the atmospheric sciences. You can find detailed information at http://asianjae.org/

Abstract Template

Submit your abstracts using the Conference abstract template  with a maximum of 300 words, reference with tag to one of the six topics above and at least 3 keywords.
